error page redirecting with linux webservers

Post by jamied_uk on 26th March 2011, 01:04

add this line to your apache.conf file (under files section)

Code:
ErrorDocument 404 /notfound.php

save and restart apache server

now copy localized-error-pages to conf.d or sometimes called

/etc/apache2/conf-available/

these days on some newer linux os!

then restart

Code:
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

unzip file!

for info on how to do this look around google or this forum for restarting apache with linux
